Eaga Partnership Charitable Trust

The independent Eaga Partnership Charitable Trust (Eaga-PCT) is a grant–giving trust that currently supports projects and research in two main areas: the relief of fuel poverty and the promotion of energy efficiency; and vulnerable consumers – multiple needs and preferences.

The Trust was founded by Eaga Partnership Ltd (EPL) in 1993. Established as a non-profit distributing organisation in 1990, eaga is now an employee-owned company, delivering programmes across the UK on behalf of central government, the devolved administrations, utilities and local authorities.

Since the inception of Eaga Partnership Charitable Trust, eaga has donated over £3.1 million to the Trust, which the Trust has used to give grants for action and research projects into the causes of fuel poverty and its impacts on health.

Although eaga continues to be its sole funder, Eaga Partnership Charitable Trust is an independent body which exists separately from eaga. Eaga-PCT has no involvement  with the operations of EPL or any other eaga companies.

The Board of Trustees

The six Trustees who make up the Trust Board have considerable knowledge of economic, energy and social policy issues. Board members have advised Parliamentary Select Committees and worked in, or advised, Government departments. The Trust's Chair is Dr Joanne Wade and the Trust’s Manager is Dr Naomi Brown.

Trustees consider all final applications at formal Trust meetings which are held three times a year.
